I do not see such deact-stampings on the metal.DWM Commercial Model 1906 American Eagle Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol SOLD! Luger contract (ordered by the Swiss military). Bobba book about the Swiss Luger.showing this pistol was made in the 1901-1902 time frame in Germany by DWM for the 1st. It it were a commercial Swiss M1900, we would see BUG proofs and not the Swiss cross stampings.Īnd here is a partial photo-scan of from the V. It would have originally had a straw-colored extractor by DWM, but this gun has received a re-enforced extractor made by the Swiss and blue in color and having a thicker front/top portion designed by the Swiss. ![]() The little Swiss cross acceptance stampings on the left side of the receiver, the top of the rear toggle link and on the barrel indicates it to be a Military gun and not a commercial Swiss M1900 (with the same SN of 1000). That is a very nice (and most likely original looking) military Swiss Luger of the M1900 variety.Ī good photo of the polished metal area under the thumb safety lever would help determine if finish is DWM original or maybe a Swiss refinish. ![]()
